Wow, my own blog. Amazing. Have no idea what to write ha!
My name is Lauren and I am 20 (nearly 21 yay) and I live in the delightful town that is Newbury! For those of you who dont know, Newbury is about 25 miles north of Winchester , and you get there by driving on the road of death which is the A34. I live at home and drive to Winchester every day . Oooh I am doing Journalism and Media Studies joint honours, love it! This is my second time at uni, as I went to Swansea Uni for a year and did law and criminology, which was pretty awful and I went to about 6 lectures in a year, and basically just got drunk many many times which as fun as it was, I feel may have been my downfall as I ended up dropping out in year 2…oops. Im loving this course though so hopefully I will be able to see this through to the end!!
I’m not really sure yet if I definatley want to be a journalist, but it is obviously an option! I enjoy every aspect of news, especially the way that in the world of news no two days are even close to being the same!! I’m a bit of a celebrity fanatic, love reading all the gossip mags, especially the wonderful Heat (im a bit obsessive about it, someone even bought me a subscription for my birthday last year ha!!)
When I graduate, I want to live in London and see what opportunitys arise.
